"HOMOSEXUALITY AND THE CHURCH"
Part 1
This is a major issue that has impacted the church for many years. Homosexual behavior is a spiritual force that the body of church has to war against in the spirit. I will drop some scripture on the issue of homosexual behavior in part 2 of the “Homosexuality and the Church” series in a few weeks.
From the choir stand to the back of the church homosexual behavior has infected the church like cancer. You would think that as the world saw the issues exposed in the Catholic Church that the Protestant, Baptist, A.M.E, Evangelical, or C.O.G.I.C churches would speak up. I will say that there are a few ministries speaking and casting that spirit down but we must expand that outside of the local church. The children of God must realize that the Father is not pleased with their actions as it pertains to homosexual activity. We have all heard of the choir director messing with young men in the church. The married pastor that has a “down low “relationship with one of the men in the church. And the acceptance of the behavior in many churches around the world has caused the enemy to gain a lot of ground in the church. The time is now for all of this to change. To speak to the issue and war in the spirit concerning the issue of homosexuality should be one of the primary goals of the church. Not only should we die to our flesh daily but we must stand in the gap for those who have trouble with this.
I stand today in the gap and pray for those that are trapped in the twisted mindset of homosexuality. From women sleeping with women and men sleeping with men this Jericho wall must come down in the church. I come against the one who says that they were born like that. They are wrong and need to be exposed to the truth. The main problem with the church is that many have seen and heard and allowed it to go and never confront it. Let me encourage you today to confront that demonic spirit in the name of Jesus (Yeshua). Be free from the chains that bind you and would have you confused and literally worshipping your flesh. I do realize that some still live as babes in the church and refuse to change. To you I encourage you to study your word and seek His face concerning this. Again I will give some scripture on this in a few weeks. You can be set free but you must open your eyes to the truth of what God is showing you. Change your heart and be moved by His spirit.
I will end with this. Our Father, God, wants us to live for Him and advance His Kingdom. He wants us to be whole and wise. In Genesis, God created Adam and Eve and told them to be fruitful and multiply. This is the foundation of marriage and what God wanted for His people. He didn’t want a man to be with a man and a woman with a woman but the enemy refused to keep still when it came to marriage and the family. Pray for those that have been blinded and confused by the enemy and help push them into the right direction.
